2021 Carry These Things, + Studies

I started this piece in September 2019.

Obsidian pebbles and sand in a bottle from Tent Rocks, NM. Clays from Maryland. Places that mean something. A piece of art that holds the objects and the story.

Thank you @madcreativedc for the opportunity to make this piece, and for the latitude extended across a pandemic, from one creative professional to another 🙂

Thanks to @hollowworkceramics for the perfect black bowl to hold the obsidian pebbles. This has been a favorite bowl for years, so I’ll be coming to purchase a new one soon 🙂
