MYTH of PERMANENCE

This group show, organized by Margaret Boozer and Catherine White, explores the tension existing between the expectation of the permanent and the reality of the temporal.
These artists present a range of retorts to permanence and preservation, deterioration and fragility. These works, in their various ways, advocate for the idea that there is something to be gained in giving up our expectations of the durable and immutable.
