This site-specific piece is made from porcelain and Plexiglas. The form responds to a groundbreaking shoreline reclamation project designed and executed by the clients (a landscape architect and civil engineer) at their Eastern Shore residence. They removed the bulkhead retaining wall and replaced it with recreated shoreline that supports indiginous plants and animals, contributing to the health of this river and the Chesapeake Bay.
