Installed in the US Embassy in Djibouti, Africa
a project with Art in Embassies and Project 4 Gallery

probably the coolest part of the trip...the Djibouti women who clean the Embassy really liked the piece and wanted the extra parts to take home and make installations in their own houses. All this information gleaned through gestures and a very few French words we had in common.

Lake Assal - Photos of this salt lake inspired the work I made for the Embassy. It was amazing to actually see it in person when we got there.
